{BLESSING BOOK} Week 1 | The Introduction

So here begins my little project for the year. I’m quite awful at actually journaling or doing anything constructive with all the random photos I take of our personal lives. But I also realize these moments of everyday blessings are just far too precious to just remain hidden on a hard drive somewhere. So I decided to make a small little stand. On the first day of every week, I will post an installment to my BLESSING BOOK. All it has to be is a photo taken THAT week accompanied by a simple caption of what the ‘blessing’ is. At the end of the year, I will compile all of these to have printed in a nice little Hallmark-sized book from Blurb, as a keepsake to hold onto forever.

Yes, I have many more than one blessing per week. I also probably could have more than one photo. But I’m trying to keep it as simple as possible so that way it ACTUALLY GETS DONE. ;o) So here’s my first go:

Week 1: January 1st-8th, 2011

And just because I wanted to start it off with a bang, here are some ‘bonus’ photos from Asher’s morning in the snow! Just click on an image for the gallery!

LOVE this! I too was not taking enough family shots and am making a much bigger effort this year.
Question? Do you use Blurb for clients or only for personal printing?

I liked a lot the neck warmer Jacob is wearing :)

Gosha – Yep, the best type of neckwarmers come from Israel ;o)

Hadassah – Thanks and blessing to you too!!!

Nicole – Ditto on not taking enough family photos! It’s like the cobblers children who have no shoes! As for BLURB, I only use it for personal projects – usually I publish more high-end legacy coffee books through my print labs (WHCC and MPIXPRO). But Blurb us sooooo fabulous for an easy, affordable option to get great quality books made!
