{CONTEST!!!!} A Living Land | An Israel Book Project

Our recent 2 and a half month stay in Israel for the Harvest season with HaYovel was amazing to say the least.

The sifting through of over 6,000 photos of all of our adventures and experiences was equally epic. ;o)

The pressure to CREATE something worthy of communicating the sheer AWESOMENESS of experiencing a LIVING LAND where the Lord has placed His Name was a bit overwhelming.

So I came up with an idea. I wanted to compile a book of my most favorite moving and inspirational images from the trip. Ones that would inspire others to to experience the same. Ones that embodied the heart of why we were there in the first place. But these images needed to be coupled with empowering Scriptures to give them their full impact.

This is where you come in.

I would love your help on completing this project. At the bottom of this post is a thumbnail gallery with numbered images that I would like you to ‘caption’ with a Scripture that you think is fitting. You can caption 1 image or 5 images or all of them. For every Scripture given, you will have an entry into a drawing to win the completed hard bound, 120 page, coffee-table-style book. Soooo if you contribute 10 Scriptures, you get 10 entries – pretty cool, eh? ;o) And since I must get the book design done before baby #2’s arrival, the contest deadline is February 1st, 2011, so only a few weeks! Please don’t hesitate to share on your own blogs/forums/facebook! I would love for this to be an opportunity for more to be introduced to the restorative work happening in Israel!!!

So detailed directions on how to enter are below but first here are some of the images I felt bore great weight in the personal “themes” that we were taught so much through while there:
