{PREVIEW} Caleb and Kendra’s Betrothal | Kentucky Photographer

Last Sunday, evening we were privileged to experience the Betrothal of Caleb and Kendra. Now, considering we were being plagued all week by tornados and bad weather, it was a bit disappointing to have to move the ceremony site from the outdoor lakefront, to the indoor tennis center. BUT, I was completely thrilled to see how they transformed the interior into a beautiful dreamy candle-lit setting.

From the drinking of THE CUP, to the SALT COVENANT, to the very personal KETUBAH READING, the whole evening was a picture of separating ourselves for a holy purpose, completely devoted to our Savior and King.

Caleb and Kendra will have quite the long wait for their wedding, as they are wanting to complete this work and celebrate the glorious occasion at the end of HARVEST in ISRAEL!!! THAT will be one amazing event I’m sure, and I can’t wait! {{IF you’d like to be there for the Harvest and the wedding, check out HaYovel!}}}

{{If you’d like to learn more about “Betrothal” you can get this awesome documentary and watch the trailer HERE –  And you can also check out Sam and Angela’s Betrothal and Wedding and Zac and Becca’s post-betrothal Wedding}}

And, again, it was a stretching experience to try and document another event in the dark, but I tried my hardest to come up with some swoon-worthy images. ;o)
