Vermont Respite

Pardon me for not posting in forever, it’s about time that I use utilize some of this big photo realestate with my new blog format ;o) So here’s to those who were waiting on seein these pics – sorry it took so long!

Our time in Vermont over July 4th spent on the lake relaxin and visiting with family was amazing (!!!). As a last minute final decision, me and my husband and my brother Jacob took off after work on thursday and drove ALL night…finally seeing the Canadian border at sunrise. Once we eventually got to the tranquil shores of Lake Champlain in Vermont, we were ready for a little shut eye.:o)

But after a couple hours of shnoozin, we were ready to hit the weekend hard with a great combination of some sweet time on our jetskiis, great cookouts, cheerin on the local parade, and catchin up with family. The Picard clan (my maiden name) with several “camps” lined along the shores knows how to have a good time, especially when family reunite there coming from all over the US.

Get ready for a barrage of photos…..:o)

And here’s happy us:o) My bestest of bestest friend….. ;o)

Gotta love camp life……

Bring on the Jet Skiis (!!!!!!!):o)

And my darling 17yo brother Jt got to try out a plethora of new things: jet skiin, water skiin, and tubing:o) Yeah, he liked it a little bit.

The jet skiis were the big hit:o) I think everybody on the point will own one by next year!

People make an experience for sure! If it hadn’t been for all the family, we just wouldn’t have had near the amount of fun! Our dear grandparents were our wonderful hosts, and they took very good care of us:o)

I love this candid photo of my two favorite Jacobs in the whole world:o)

Our little traveling band:o) We have waaay too much fun together. I’m glad my little brother doesn’t think I”m too much of a fuddy dud to hang with ;o) (right, JT?)

I”ll leave you with a few shots of me gettin into our jet skiis…… ;o) Yes, I have to concede and agree with my husband that they were a worthy investment ;o) (Thanks Uncle Don for doing a great job running the camera!!!)

And I take my hubby for a wild ride – this is just a sec before we got thrown off!!! Woo hoo!

Heather, your pictures are awesome! You captured the excitement and spirit of the 4th of July week perfectly. I feel like each one of your pictures tells a unique story. You have a true gift. Thanks for including Olivia. She loves seeing herself on the “puter”. If she finds another moustache she may not ever take it off:) Great job. See you soon.
