This has been a really crazy past couple of months.
Currently, I’m insanely busy with lots of fabulous shoots and seemingly endless computer time.
But as I sit in my nook, frantically editing the other day, I looked up to see this:

I grabbed my camera beside me to capture it. My little 7mon old boy is tearing around the house lately, exploring and causing me great worry every time he goes out of sight. But at this moment, I stopped and just drank the scene in – he’s so little but yet growing up so fast. I wanted to freeze my little man in time, because even though I’m busy, he’s still growing up. If I choose to be occupied and frantic all the time, I’m going to miss it.
So every time I go and think about grumbling about all the valuable editing time I’m losing every time I have to hunt him down or pry foreign debris out of his mouth, I remember that this is worth cherishing and every moment I have the privilege of caring for him is a gift.

In just a couple weeks Asher has gone from belly scooting to mastering hand/knee crawling to scaling all reachable tables and chairs to climbing up stairs.
I’m amazed at how quickly he learns…..

This is my man standing by my side as I try to edit. My little lizard man that is – the tongue is a recent fascination. ;o)
Every ounce of his being is packed with personality – wouldn’t have it any other way! ;o)
